Shaquille O’Neal has finally responded to Sophie Rain’s claims that he offered her money to speak to her on the phone.
Rumours about Shaq and Sophie getting together have been going on for ages now, but Sophie just revealed even more about it.
Sophie was asked what the single biggest payment he made to her was. She shocked everyone by saying, “Half a million dollars.”
When asked what that massive amount of money entailed, she claimed he just likes long phone conversations. She said, “I’ll talk to him. He’ll tell me just about his day, what he’s been doing.”
Nobody really believes that, and everyone thinks that she would have been asked to do other things, not just talk on the phone.
The two previously made headlines when they were spotted together at her 21st birthday party in Las Vegas back in September 2025.
A photo of Sophie sitting with him quickly went viral, causing a lot of dating rumours, which they both quickly shut down at the time.
But ever since then, fans have been saying they think Shaq and Sophie have something going on.
Finally, Shaq has stepped in and left a comment under a post about it that said, “This isn’t true”.
It’s hard to know who to believe here, but many fans say they think something definitely happened.
