KSI leaving has disproved one of the biggest Sidemen theories, and I don’t know how to feel about it.
For years, so many people said the group would not be the same without him. While there is no denying that JJ is the biggest individual name, the reaction has shown that the group was never carried by one person.
The amount of support for the remaining boys has been massive. Fans are not sticking around because of one member but because they love the group, which is honestly so nice to see.
Nobody could have foreseen how crazy the reaction from Sidemen fans has been. The backlash towards JJ was much bigger than many of us realised.
Looking across YouTube and other platforms, there are many people who seem more excited about the group moving forward than upset about his departure.
To me, this shows that it’s a strange situation. On one hand, it proves how strong the brand is beyond any individual member.
On the other hand, it shows that his relationship with parts of the fanbase has become more damaged than many of us thought.
Either way, I hope nothing but the best for JJ and the rest of the boys. Their success together over the last decade is something none of them can take away from each other.
Before you go, I wanna know, do you think the group will be better off without JJ?
