Benedict Cumberbatch has shared his feelings about the cyclist incident, and he’s surprised everybody.
After the incident with the cyclist, a source shared how he’s feeling. The source said, “Benedict still insists he was in the right and is not backing down. He hopes everyone who sees the footage can see his side.”
It seems to me that Benedict is worried this incident might make fans dislike him, since some people think he was in the wrong.
If you don’t know what happened, he was seen in a heated exchange near King’s Cross Station. The argument was on Tuesday evening, after an incident in the cycle lane. It’s put his name in the papers for all the wrong reasons.
Footage shows Benedict on his cargo bike, followed by another cyclist wearing a mask. Things escalated quickly, and the exchange reportedly lasted about 10 minutes in front of a large crowd.
Despite the tension, Benedict was seen being polite to fans and taking photos after the other man left.
Because he took photos with fans immediately after, it really looked like he was just trying to get good PR after he clocked that he was being filmed arguing in public.
Before you go, I wanna know, does this change how you see Benedict?
