Many celebrities have reacted to Benedict Cumberbatch’s argument with a cyclist.
First up, Amanda Holden said: “Cyclists are the worst”.
Next, Piers Morgan said: “Something needs to be done about this”.
Next, Simon Cowell said: “Don’t get me started”.
And finally, Katie Price said: “He doesn’t seem a nice bloke”.
The details about the argument are pretty shocking.
Benedict was confronted by another person on a bike while riding through the city. The footage shows a man calling Benedict deluded and shouting that he wasn’t being truthful. They were clearly very angry with each other.
According to a witness, Benedict allegedly ran a red light on his cargo bike before the other man started chasing him. It’s quite wild to see someone this famous getting into it on a street corner.
The video shows Benedict leaving his bike to walk over and talk to the other person. Benedict said, “Dude, you verbally insulted me.”
The other man made a sarcastic crying gesture and said, “Oh no, I verbally insulted the guy who completely repeatedly broke the rules.” Benedict responded by saying, “I did it once.”
The man then claimed Benedict went through three lights and a zebra crossing, but Benedict said, “No, I did not.”
Before you go, I wanna know, do you think Benedict was right to stand his ground here?
