Akon has called out his ex for saying that he hands out jewellery, which is not real, to other celebrities.
Akon’s ex shared a long message detailing several claims against him. Stephanie Nicole posted a series of messages on social media that have quickly gotten a lot of attention.
The most talked-about part of the message is the claim that Akon has been handing out alternative diamonds instead of real diamonds to people in the industry.
She even mentioned another person in her post to back up her claims. Stephanie said, “Even French Montana said you got him a dupe watch.” This specific detail has caused a lot of fans to start looking back at old videos of gifts given by Akon.
Beyond the jewellery talk, Stephanie also mentioned that Akon has allowed people in his life to be disrespectful to those closest to him.
Stephanie said, “I will not continue to let this coward disrespect me.” She suggested that Akon has lost friends he had for over 20 years because of the people he chooses to keep around him.
During all of this, Akon has spoken out about the jewellery situation.
Underneath a post about it, Akon left a comment. In his comment, he wrote, “Do you think I care what you have to say?”
This means that he’s denying what his ex said and wants everyone to know he’d never give out gifts that aren’t real.
