Many celebrities have reacted after Rochelle was booed throughout her Big Brother winner’s interview.
First up, Gemma Collins said, “She’s won a hundred grand. I don’t think she’s gonna be losing any sleep over those boos”
Next, Tiffany Pollard said, “My jaw was on the floor”
Next, Olivia Attwood said, “You can dislike someone on a reality show without trying to ruin their winning moment.”
Next, Emma Willis said, “I know people get passionate about Big Brother, but that must’ve been quite overwhelming for Rochelle”
And finally, Sam Faiers said, “Imagine your family watching you get booed like that”
Rochelle had just been crowned the winner, taking home the £100,000 prize after coming out ahead of Twinks. But instead of getting a moment to celebrate, she could barely hear the questions over the audience, with some people chanting that Twinks should have won.
She was also reminded that she’d been the most nominated housemate in 15 years. I can understand viewers being disappointed with the result, but the reaction was so loud that it overshadowed the interview itself.
I actually think the audience could have let her enjoy the moment, even if they weren’t happy with the result. Winning the show is still a huge achievement, and she should have been able to finish her interview.
