The real reason behind Billie and Sam Faiers’ fallout has been revealed, and honestly, it wasn’t what I expected.
For a while now, I’ve noticed that the sisters don’t seem as close as they once were, and a lot of people have said it’s really sad to watch.
According to reports, one of the biggest reasons for the distance between them was Sam’s decision to move to Surrey.
It reportedly started around the time Sam decided to step away from The Mummy Diaries, ending the period where the sisters worked so closely together. I can understand why Billie may have found that difficult after spending so many years by each other’s side.
They did briefly reunite for Sister Act last year, but the series only lasted one season, and it doesn’t seem to have brought them back together in the long term.
Things reportedly became even more strained over a recent New Year trip to the Maldives. Billie travelled with her family and their mum, Suzie, but Sam wasn’t there.
One insider claimed, “Sam wasn’t invited on the trip. Nobody thought she would be anyway because she leads such a different life these days.”
Another source also claimed that Billie has been unwell recently and was hoping for more support from her sister.
