Maya Jama has spoken out about the horrible comments Charleen is getting, and honestly, I’m surprised by what she said.
Everything started after the Casa Amor recoupling when Kavan brought Charleen Murphy back to the main villa.
The atmosphere immediately felt awkward. The original girls giving the new arrivals a pretty frosty welcome, and Mica referring to Charleen as “that girl” definitely stood out to me.
Then, while the original girls gathered together to talk about the boys, the Casa girls were left standing on their own, and Charleen suddenly broke down in tears.
I can understand why viewers were divided. Some people felt she overreacted, but I also think walking into a group where nobody even acknowledges you would be pretty overwhelming.
What surprised me most was how quickly the criticism became personal. Instead of just debating the moment, some people started leaving really nasty comments, calling Charleen dramatic and mocking her for crying.
Then Maya Jama stepped in underneath a post about the hate and commented, “The horrible comments need to stop.”
I honestly think Maya said exactly what needed to be said. You can disagree with how Charleen acted, but I don’t think that gives people a free pass to pile on someone like this online.
Before you go, I wanna know, do you think Charleen’s reaction was understandable?
