Lucinda Strafford has reacted to Charleen Murphy breaking down in tears after the Casa Amor recoupling, and honestly, I think this moment divided viewers more than anyone expected.
I found myself trying to work out why Charleen was so emotional because, on the surface, it didn’t seem like anyone had actually been rude to her.
Charleen had just secured her place in the main villa after recoupling with Kavan.
The couple reunited after Kavan left Jasmine behind, who had stayed loyal. Because emotions were running high, the original girls gave the new arrivals a fairly cold reception, and the atmosphere immediately felt awkward.
As everyone walked away, Charleen burst into tears while the other Casa girls gathered around to comfort her.
I can understand why some viewers were confused. Nobody was shouting or causing a scene, but at the same time, I also think walking into a villa where nobody even says hello would feel pretty uncomfortable.
Later, Kavan tried to reassure her, telling her that any frustration was aimed at him rather than her.
Even after that, Charleen admitted she was upset because nobody had acknowledged them, although some fans felt she was overreacting and accused her of looking for attention.
Then Lucinda Strafford stepped in underneath a post about the moment and commented, “Broke my heart”.
Before you go, I wanna know, do you think the original girls were too cold to Charleen?
