Lil Wayne Addresses Being Spotted Partying After No-Show At His Own Concert

Lil Wayne has finally spoken out about partying right after he no-showed his concert, and honestly, I don’t think this explanation is going to satisfy many fans.

I think what people are struggling with isn’t just that he missed the show. It’s what happened next.

Wayne never appeared for his concert in Maine, and just a day later, he was spotted at Michael Rubin’s famous White Party in the Hamptons alongside stars like DJ Khaled and Alicia Keys.

The more I looked into it, the easier it became to understand why fans were upset. If he’d missed the concert because of an emergency, I think most people would’ve understood. But seeing him at a celebrity party so soon afterwards completely changed the conversation.

I also forgot this isn’t the first time. Fans were quick to point out previous no-shows in Toronto, California, and Los Angeles, which probably made this incident even harder for people to overlook.

Wayne has since rescheduled the Maine show for July 28 and apologised, but he never actually explained why he didn’t perform.

Now Wayne stepped in underneath a post about the situation and commented, “Nobody’s business”.

Honestly, that’s the part I don’t agree with. To me, once people have spent money on tickets, hotels, and travel, they deserve some kind of explanation. You don’t have to share every personal detail, but I do think fans are owed more than that.

Before you go, I wanna know, would you still buy tickets to see Lil Wayne after this?
