Love Island stars have reacted to Antigoni’s Eurovision entry.
First up, Maya Jama said: “Love it”.
Next, Molly Mae said: “She’s a star”.
Next, Shakira Khan said: “This is the best entry by far”.
And finally, Tyrique Hyde said: “She’s pretty good”.
Antigoni Buxton is receiving mixed reviews after her first performance on Eurovision.
Antigoni is representing Cyprus in Vienna this year with her song called Jalla. She just finished her first rehearsals on the big stage, and a short clip of her singing has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.
Some fans say her vocals sounded a bit rough, and I’d have to agree with them there. Some people say it was disappointing, while others think she is just saving her voice for the actual show.
It’s common for singers to hold back during rehearsals so they don’t get too tired before the main event. It’s a long week, and they need to stay strong for the semi-final.
People are also finding it funny that she was on Love Island, and many can’t believe she’s now doing Eurovision.
But, despite her questionable singing, the staging looks really impressive with a lot of high-energy dancing. It seems like Cyprus is going for a huge party vibe, which usually does well with the audience.
