Zoe Ball has addressed the Strictly hosting rumours in the best way possible.
People have been talking about who will take over the top job, and a secret trail of clues pointed toward Zoe. Two other people were considered favourites for the position, but it seems they are no longer in the running.
It’s interesting to see how much attention this has gotten on social media lately. Many people were convinced that Zoe was already picked because of her history with the show and how much the fans love her.
While everyone was guessing what would happen next, Zoe decided to address this and left a comment under a post about it. She said, “You guys make me laugh.”
This tells me that she is not taking the rumours seriously at all right now. Many fans think this means she is definitely not doing it, while others feel she might just be trying to keep the secret a little longer.
Personally, I think it would be a huge change for the show if she did join. I don’t think she would make the show particularly fun, and I definitely think they could find someone a lot better to host the show instead of her. But who knows, maybe she will prove us all wrong.
