Meagan Good has reacted after Jonathan Majors got emotional while speaking about how she stayed with him when he was broke.
Jonathan opened up about their relationship at the Africa International Film Festival in Lagos, explaining that when Meagan came into his life, he was struggling financially and dealing with his trial.
He admitted, “I didn’t have any money. I had the wrong type of fame at that moment. I had nothing to give her.”
And honestly, I think it’s quite telling that he remembers feeling like he had nothing to offer her, especially considering how successful his career had been before everything happened.
He then got emotional while talking about Meagan’s support, saying, “She’s just safe. She’s waiting. She just helped me. We’re going to leave it there. She just helped me.”
And Meagan has now responded underneath a post about his speech.
She simply commented, “I love you”.
To me, that says a lot about how she feels. She’s clearly stood by her decision to support Jonathan, regardless of what other people think.
