Usher has spoken out about his backstage argument with Chris Brown that delayed their Atlanta concert by nearly three hours.
The disagreement reportedly started because heavy traffic meant many fans were struggling to arrive on time. Usher wanted the show to go ahead, while Chris wanted to wait until more people had made it inside.
Sources say the two went back and forth backstage, with their competitive relationship throughout the tour adding to the tension. The situation apparently came down to their egos, and they still haven’t worked things out.
What makes this more interesting is that the tour doesn’t appear to be in jeopardy, and they’re still scheduled to perform in Atlanta again.
There’s also some history here. Usher previously stepped in to defend Teyana Taylor after Chris yelled at her during his birthday celebrations in 2023, so this isn’t the first time they’ve had a public disagreement.
Now Usher has addressed the latest reports himself. Underneath a post about the argument, he commented, “Says who?”
That’s a direct way of pushing back, but I’m not buying it. I think a feud is definitely going on, and we’ll have to wait and see what comes out.
