Mark Ballas’ wife, BC Jean, has been keeping a close eye on Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas’s Dancing With The Stars rehearsals.
Maura and Mark have been getting attention for their chemistry on the dance floor, and BC has been turning up at the studio while they practise.
She has also performed during two of their routines, singing Black Velvet on premiere night and Cry Little Sister during Horror Movie Night.
I can see why that has raised eyebrows, especially given the controversy involving Danny Jones, who was married at the time. Maura and married Danny were pictured smooching at the 2024 Brit Awards, which caused a huge backlash.
Maura has still made a strong start, topping the leaderboard on her debut with 21 out of 30 for her Foxtrot.
The insider says BC has no problem with Mark having a glamorous dance partner, but doesn’t want to become part of a love-triangle storyline.
They said: “BC is certainly keeping a very close eye on the pair. She’s very aware of Maura’s man-eating ways and past indiscretion with Danny Jones, and doesn’t want her to have the opportunity to pounce.”
