Danny Aarons has reacted after Tennessee explained why she refuses to have food at other people’s houses.
During a recent podcast episode, Tennessee told Danny that her mum taught her not to have food prepared in other people’s homes, and it’s a rule she’s carried into adulthood.
She explained that she’s particularly concerned about how people prepare chicken. Tennessee questioned why some people don’t wash theirs, adding that she uses lemon, vinegar and salt when preparing her own.
But that wasn’t her only concern. She also mentioned cats and dogs, saying pet hair can end up around the house and near the food. So, for Tennessee, it’s also about what might be going on in someone else’s kitchen.
I can understand being careful about food, but avoiding meals at other people’s houses altogether is quite a rule to stick to.
Danny had something to say about her explanation. Underneath a post about the clip, he commented, “She’s a crazy one”.
I think it’s definitely unusual, but I can see what she means. A lot of people are judging her for this, but I think people should lay off. If she gets too much backlash, she might not feel confident enough to share her opinions again.
