Nic Vans has responded to people saying he’s monetizing his breakup with Olandria.
This backlash all began after Nic wrote to his subscribers that the rumours were true and that he wanted to clear the air.
He said, “We will continue to love each other, always. It’s a sensitive and private subject. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
What stood out to me was that he just posted a black screen behind a paywall. People are getting tired of choices like this, especially when it costs money just to read a text post. His fans literally had to pay to be able to see his new update, and he somehow thought that was okay.
I can understand why people are having a strong reaction because charging for an update like this feels like a lot. Honestly, I actually think it’s not a good look for him.
After this went viral, Nic stepped in and left a comment under a post about it, saying, “I can post however I want to”.
To me, it seems like he’s getting really frustrated over the situation. He looks like he’s losing patience with his fans and is tired of everything he does being picked apart.
