Maya Jama has addressed the talk of Julia and Lorenzo being removed from the Love Island final.
Former Islanders returned and voted Mica and Samraj the weakest remaining couple, sending them home in the semifinal.
But their exit came with a twist.
Instead of leaving straight away, they were given the power to choose another couple to go with them, deciding which three couples reach the final.
Fans are especially worried about Julia and Lorenzo.
Julia has not been close with several of the girls, and both Mica and Samraj have had tense moments with her.
I can understand why people think old arguments could matter more than which relationship deserves a place in the final.
Maya later commented under a post about the concern and said, “Oh. We’ll have to wait and see. Whatever happens, I’m sure you’ll all love it”.
To me, that sounds like she already knows the decision will cause a huge reaction.
Honestly, the twist is entertaining, but I think it gives the most recently dumped couple more power than they should have.
I think the winner should be down to the public, and I don’t think Mica and Samraj should have a say in who goes.
