Justin Gaethje has reacted after Jimmy Fallon was criticised for giving Conor McGregor an interview.
Jimmy invited Conor onto The Tonight Show ahead of Conor’s UFC return.
The issue was not just that Conor appeared on TV. Viewers were upset because they felt the interview helped promote his return while avoiding the serious controversy around his name.
Some viewers brought up Conor’s recent legal battles, including the Nikita Hand case, and felt Jimmy should not have treated him like a normal celebrity guest.
Viewers questioned why Jimmy was giving Conor a platform. They said he should not be welcomed on a major talk show without harder questions.
Others said the interview changed how they saw Jimmy. They said that they had watched him for years, but won’t be watching him anymore.
Now Justin has stepped in under a post about Jimmy and Conor and said, “Pair of losers.”
Justin was not trying to be careful. He made it obvious how he feels about both of them.
I definitely think Jimmy was wrong to interview him, and so I can see why Justin is mad about it. Conor did something really bad, and it’s not just rumoured; he was found guilty.
