Odessa has denied claims that she liked a problematic Instagram post about a pilot.
This started after a screenshot appeared to show Odessa liking a post that said, “when you realise your pilot is neither W nor a man but the flight has already taken off.”
The post upset people because it is obviously disrespectful, and it quickly made Odessa look bad online.
But Odessa’s side is denying that she liked it. A source said, “Odessa did not do this. It’s a completely fabricated screenshot and was edited. She knows that fans of Drew Starkey are doing anything they can to ruin her, and she’s not going to let them.”
Her side isn’t saying the post was taken out of context; they’re saying the entire screenshot is fabricated.
Honestly, people need to be careful before treating screenshots like proof. Something like this can completely change how people see someone, especially when the post is this bad.
If Odessa really liked it, that would be a bad look because the message isn’t funny. It’s insulting and makes a joke out of serious things.
But if the screenshot really was edited, then the outrage is being built on something that didn’t happen.
Without the real post or a screen recording, it’s hard to know what’s true.
