Jon Jones has reacted to Sean Strickland pulling up to training in an offensive shirt.
This started after a photo of Sean wearing the shirt started getting attention online.
The shirt had a phrase using “the word,” and people immediately felt it was unnecessary, disrespectful, and another bad look for Sean.
Now Jon Jones has stepped in under a post about Sean wearing it and said, “Terrible.”
Jon didn’t need a long response because one word was enough to show he thought the shirt looked bad.
Sean already has a reputation for saying bad things in public, so this only adds to the way people talk about him.
He has faced backlash before for race-related comments, including using “the word” during a livestreamed MMA event.
He was also criticised over a Popeyes video that was called out for mocking black people.
Personally, I don’t think Sean can keep acting surprised when people react badly to moments like this. When someone already has that reputation, wearing a shirt like that is obviously going to make you look even worse.
Even if Sean thinks people are being too sensitive, he keeps giving them reasons to question him.
Before you go, I wanna know, was Jon right to call it terrible?
