Jake Short has said he’s feeling betrayed after Mika Abdalla and Josh Heuston confirmed their romance.
New photos showed them standing close, holding onto each other, and looking very comfortable together.
Because they are co-stars on Off Campus, it got a lot of attention, but the timing made it look messier.
Mika had only recently ended her engagement to Jake, so seeing her with Josh so soon made people question how quickly everything had changed.
One source said, “Jake Short is so upset. He feels beyond betrayed. He knew something was wrong. Everything fell apart during press for Off Campus. The moment it started, he knew the relationship was over. Now seeing Mika with Josh has him feeling that there definitely was an overlap.”
That explains why Jake is taking the photos so badly. To him, this does not look like Mika simply moved on after the breakup.
It looks like something may have already been happening while their relationship was falling apart.
Personally, I think the timing makes Mika and Josh look questionable. Even if they are happy now, going public this soon after Mika’s engagement ended was always going to make people confused.
