Toni has reacted after Love Island’s Ope got shut down for trying to flirt on the Debrief show.
The moment happened when Ope appeared on The Debrief after being dumped from the villa with Victoria. He was asked about Angelista, who he had been coupled up with, and whether he was actually into her.
Ope said he did like Angelista, but then admitted she was not his usual type. He said he usually needs someone more outgoing and theatrical.
Then Shakira helped him out and said, “Extroverted.” But instead of leaving it there, Ope looked at the three hosts and said, “Yeah, like you three are amazing.”
That is when the whole room started laughing because it was obvious he had tried to turn the conversation into flirting. But Toni shut it down straight away and said, “Hey, you’re out of the villa now. You don’t need to flirt with us.”
Ope tried to laugh it off and joked, but the damage was already done. The whole thing was awkward because he had just left the villa, unlucky in love, and now he was already trying it with the hosts.
Now Toni has stepped in and left a comment under a post about what happened and said, “This was funny.”
Personally, I think Toni made the moment even funnier because she did not let him get away with it. Ope tried to be smooth, but Toni clocked it immediately.
