Princess Andre has reacted after Peter Andre admitted he struggled with her having a boyfriend.
Peter recently said he used to be much stricter with his kids because he was repeating things he had been taught growing up.
He explained that when Princess talked about having a boyfriend, his first reaction was to joke, “No, you’re going to become a nun.”
That is why the story got attention. Peter was not just talking about dating. He was admitting that watching Princess grow up has been hard for him to adjust to.
But Peter said his views changed over time.
He said when Princess was around 14 and started talking to his wife Emily about boys, it softened his heart because he saw the innocence in it.
Peter also said that when he was growing up, there was no such thing as boyfriends and girlfriends in his house.
So this was not just him being an overprotective dad. It was also about how his own upbringing shaped the way he reacted.
Now Princess has stepped in and left a comment under a post about Peter struggling with her having a boyfriend and said, “He’ll get over it.”
Personally, I think Princess’s comment was funny but direct. Peter may still be adjusting, but Princess clearly knows this is part of growing up.
