Rihanna has reacted after Chris Brown and Usher had a backstage argument that delayed their Atlanta concert by nearly three hours.
Heavy traffic meant loads of fans were arriving late. Usher wanted the show to go ahead, but Chris wanted to wait until more people had made it inside.
Sources say the two went back and forth backstage and have been extremely competitive throughout the tour. This time, things came down to their egos, and they still haven’t worked out their problems.
I can understand Chris wanting to wait for the fans, but a delay of nearly three hours is a long time.
And this isn’t their first awkward moment. Back in 2023, Usher stepped in at Chris’s birthday party to defend Teyana Taylor after Chris shouted at her. Chris and Usher were then seen arguing.
Sources don’t believe the tension will put the tour in jeopardy, and they’re still scheduled to perform together in Atlanta tonight.
Rihanna has now joined the conversation. Underneath a post about the backstage argument, she commented, “i need the tea”.
Honestly, there’s clearly more going on between them than a disagreement over when to start the show, and I think it’ll all come out soon.
