Joan Smalls has reacted after Candice Swanepoel was spotted wearing a likely engagement ring on her wedding finger amid her romance with Tom Brady.
Candice was seen out wearing a gold band on her left ring finger. She’s been seeing Tom for months, although a source said the relationship isn’t too serious and he isn’t looking to jump into another serious relationship.
What makes the ring more interesting is the history between Candice and Joan. They were close friends for around 15 years, but their friendship appears to have taken a turn after Candice started seeing Tom, who Joan had dated herself.
A source claimed Joan was upset because Candice had encouraged her to end things with Tom, only to later get involved with him herself. Since then, Joan has made shady comments online, including a Halloween post about accountability that many connected to the situation.
And now she’s weighed in again. Underneath a post about Candice’s ring, Joan commented, “Well good for you”.
I can see why people are reading that as sarcastic, especially with everything that’s happened between them.
