Kim Kardashian has reacted after Yvette Nicole Brown questioned her parenting after the North West incident.
This started after clips from Paris Fashion Week showed North, who is only 13, being approached by adult men trying to get photos with her.
North had just debuted a bold punk-inspired look at a show, but the conversation quickly moved away from the outfit and toward her personal space.
Yvette called out the situation and wrote, “I’ve never seen strangers allowed to get this close to either of her parents.”
People know Kim and Kanye are heavily protected in public. So when North looked easier to approach, viewers started asking why the same level of distance didn’t seem to apply.
Now Kim has stepped in underneath a post about what Yvette said and commented, “Can people not worry about their own family?”
I get why Kim feels defensive. Nobody wants strangers online acting like they know how to parent their child.
But I also don’t think Yvette’s concern came out of nowhere. North may be famous, styled, and used to cameras, but she is still a kid. Being part of a famous family doesn’t mean adults should feel comfortable crowding her for photos.
Before you go, I wanna know, was Yvette right to question Kim?
