Dana White has reacted to Justin Gaethje demanding equity in the company, and he doesn’t sound happy.
Justin is causing a massive stir after revealing he wants the UFC to give him partial ownership.
Justin shocked everyone when he stopped Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250, but it seems he is more focused on his financial future than defending his new title.
During an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Justin made his position very obvious.
Justin said, “I’m in a place where I deserve to be compensated for what I have done. Not just for what I’m going to do.”
He then made his demands clear. He said, “I think I need to be compensated for what I’ve done. That’s where I’m at. I’m talking about the UFC should make a company and give me equity in that company so I can build passive income like that.”
He explained that his work speaks for itself after bringing home 17 performance bonuses. He wants passive income now, rather than just getting a larger purse for his next performance.
Now Dana White has stepped in and left a comment under a post about it that said, “Not gonna happen.”
I don’t know what Justin was expecting because Dana never likes it when people say stuff like this. He’s definitely in his bad books now.
