I’m not happy that Venezuela Fury has addressed going viral for not being able to spell.
Venezuela spoke out and said, “Just seen a video saying Venezuela Fury left school when she was 11, how do you expect her to spell? I’ll have you know, I nearly got accepted into a grammar school.”
Her husband, Noah Price, actually interrupted her to ask what that meant. Venezuela told Noah it means having good spelling. In the UK, those are selective schools that you can only get into if you pass a really difficult test.
Venezuela explained that she was tutored and did all of her tests. She said, “I don’t know where you get your information from. I got awarded the prize of the year in school in Year 6 for good spelling.”
Personally, I think it is great that she is standing up for herself because people online can be so harsh. I just don’t think it’s okay that people are being so mean to her about it.
Her mother, Paris Fury, previously explained that leaving school at 11 is a traditional traveller custom.
Paris said, “We finish school at 11, which is the traditional traveller way. We’ve just brought the tradition into the 21st century. Venezuela wanted to leave school, and all her friends were leaving.”
Paris also said that Venezuela would keep working with a private tutor to stay up to date with her tests.
Before you go, I wanna know, what do you think of her leaving school so young?
