Ginuwine has reacted after fans started side-eyeing his engagement to a 28-year-old woman.
This started after a source said Ginuwine, who is 55, proposed to Miami realtor Jannette Escartin in Washington, a couple of weeks ago.
Jannette said yes, and the couple told the source they are happy and in love.
Jannette said they met in South Florida a couple of years ago, but they kept the relationship almost completely private.
But there was one clue sitting on Instagram. Ginuwine had commented “Mine” on one of Jannette’s photos, which now looks like his quiet way of claiming the relationship before the engagement news came out.
However, when people found out about their age gap, it became the main conversation.
Some fans noticed that Ginuwine has kids older than Jannette. Others brought up that his single “Pony” came out in 1996, before she was even born.
That’s when Ginuwine stepped in under a post about the comments and said, “And what about it?”
Honestly, that answer sounds like a man who already knew people would judge him and decided he wasn’t explaining anything.
