Jussie Smollett has reacted after 50 Cent called out his singing for being bad.
This started after a clip from one of Jussie’s Empire concert scenes started getting dragged online because people said his vocals sounded heavily auto-tuned and not pleasant to listen to.
That is when 50 Cent jumped in and basically said that this is what people get for watching Empire instead of Power.
Power and Empire were always compared. So 50 Cent did not just make fun of Jussie’s performance. He brought back that old rivalry and made it sound like the audience picked the wrong show years ago.
That is very on-brand for 50 Cent. He knows how to take one viral moment and make it about himself.
Now Jussie has stepped in under a post where 50 Cent said Power was better and said, “He can stay mad”.
His response is short and dismissive, and he is not defending the performance, explaining the auto-tune, or arguing about Empire. He is basically saying he doesn’t care if people do not like his singing, and he just wants to do what makes him happy.
Honestly, the funny part is that this started with people clowning one concert clip, but 50 Cent turned it into a full Power versus Empire debate again.
