Many celebrities have reacted to Dustin Poirier getting arrested at the airport.
First up, Dana White said: “This is not a good look”.
Next, Jon Jones said: “You’ve gotta see the funny side”.
Next, Sean O’Malley said: “He needs to behave for once”.
And finally, Mike Tyson said: “I just hope he’s ok. People joke about these things, but you’ve got to understand, there’s a real person behind this.”
Dustin Poirier’s shocking actions at an airport have got him in a lot of trouble.
Dustin was visibly upset and shouting at airport staff after he was denied boarding for a Delta flight at the Atlanta airport.
Officers arrived at the gate shortly after, as Dustin was acting very aggressively and was refusing to leave.
The first officer recognised Dustin and asked for extra units because of his behaviour. Dustin eventually told them, “If you want to arrest me, then go ahead.”
He was taken in and released on bond later that day.
A video showed Dustin shouting at two women working the desk and at the officer. He told the officer, “I’ll take you on right now.”
The man said he did not want to, and considering Dustin’s career in the UFC, I don’t blame him.
Other officers arrived soon after, and Dustin told them to arrest him, and luckily, he didn’t resist.
As a fan of Dustin, I think this whole situation is very disappointing to see, as he’s such a legend in the sport.
It’s really sad to see him make headlines for this instead of his massive achievements.
Clearly, retirement isn’t working out great for him, and I hope he gets himself sorted out.
