Nicki Minaj has said she’s annoyed after seeing Jay Z’s hair transformation, after previously saying he wears a wig.
This started after Beyoncé posted a video through her hair care brand showing Jay-Z combing out his locs.
Beyoncé explained that Jay-Z had been growing his locs for eight years, and the whole family helped take them down over several days.
She also said Jay-Z first grew his hair to help Blue Ivy feel more confident about her own natural texture.
Everyone loved Jay’s transformation, but it also brought Nicki back into the conversation.
Nicki had previously mocked Jay-Z’s hair online and said, “Jay Z take off that lace-front.”
Now the new video makes that comment look awkward because Beyoncé showed the process behind Jay-Z’s locs and made it clear it was not a wig.
One source said, “Nicki is fuming about this video coming out. She really thought it was a wig, and now this has made her look like someone who makes stories up.”
Personally, I think Nicki was wrong for posting that tweet. Jay wasn’t wearing a wig, and it isn’t even anyone’s business even if he did wear one.
