Maya Jama has called out George Knight over what he said, which caused him to be removed from Love Island.
George left the villa very quickly after entering as a new arrival. The official message from the television bosses said he had to leave for private reasons.
George later said that he chose to walk away because someone in his family had a well-being concern. At the time, I felt like this story sounded a bit shady.
Now, sources are saying that the family news was true, but it was used to hide the real story. They claim George was actually removed after getting a formal warning for using an unacceptable word inside the villa.
Before leaving, people on social media had already criticised George for using bad words toward another person named Mica. George later talked about the situation in an interview.
George said, “I probably have said things that in reflection don’t look or sound great, but that’s just how I am in the moment.” He added that he knew it would cause problems for him, but he wanted to be authentic.
Now Maya has stepped in and left a comment under a post about it and said, “Very disappointing”.
This shows that she heavily dislikes how George acted, and she is probably glad he is gone now.
