Cole Palmer is spiralling out of control after being left out of England’s World Cup squad.
Cole wanted that spot more than anything, so not being chosen has clearly upset him.
One source said, “Cole is spiralling out of control. Partying. Antics. Everything. He wanted this more than anything and can’t cope with the fact that he wasn’t chosen.”
That makes the whole thing sound sad and messy at the same time. There’s nothing he can do to fix things, but if he keeps on acting this crazy, then he’s going to lower his chances of ever being picked again in the future.
So many people feel bad for him. Missing out on something that big can mess with anyone’s head, especially when the whole country is watching and judging.
The hard part is that Cole is talented enough for people to expect him there. The rumours are that his life choices played a small role in why he wasn’t picked. If this is true, I’m surprised to see that he’s still doing the same stuff all of the time.
Personally, I think Cole deserves some empathy, but he also has to take this seriously. Feeling crushed is understandable, but if the source is right, he cannot let disappointment turn into more bad decisions.
