Molly Mae has said that she’s annoyed that Love Island’s latest newcomer is a nepo.
The latest person heading into the Majorca villa has been revealed as someone who has famous parents. And because of that, people aren’t too happy with it.
Halle Brown is her name, and she’s the daughter of Leanne, who was on The Real Housewives of Cheshire, and she is set to shake things up.
But Molly isn’t happy about the casting choice. She stepped in and left a comment under a post about it that said, “We need more normal people”.
I completely agree with what Molly is saying because the show is really meant to be about ordinary people looking for a partner.
When the villa is filled with those who are already famous or have celebrity connections, it takes away from the original feel of the show.
But it’s not just her mother. Halle also has a very famous dad, Wes Brown, a former England and Manchester United player. While she has two famous parents, she has also done her own thing as a skilled dancer.
She graduated from a dance academy in Leicester with a first-class honors degree in 2024.
Despite this, people don’t really want her on Love Island because of her parents.
