Molly Mae Slams ‘Disrespectful’ Love Island Documentary That Has Everyone Floored

Molly-Mae has said she’s annoyed about the controversial new Love Island documentary.

The documentary is set to look back at the passing of contestants after their time on the show, including Sophie Gradon, Mike, and Paul Danan. Some people may see it as a serious look at reality TV, but the timing feels questionable.

According to the report, the documentary is planned to be released on Amazon Prime on July 26, around the time Love Island is expected to have its final. A TV insider said the timing is “not great” from ITV’s side, but added that the date will “maximise the attention it’s likely to get.”

That is where it feels messy. These were real people with real families, not just a TV story to drop while the current season is still on. Awareness is one thing, but timing it for attention makes people question the motive.

Now Molly-Mae has stepped in and left a comment under an article about the documentary exploring the passing of former Love Island contestants and said, “This feels exploitive.”

Personally, I think Molly-Mae is right to call this out. Tragedy should be handled with care, not placed where it can get the biggest reaction.

Before you go, I wanna know, was Molly-Mae right to call this documentary exploitive?
