Joe Alwyn obviously called the paparazzi on himself to show off that he’s dating Sarah Pidgeon.
The pair were spotted on what looked like a casual date night, dressed down in jeans and T-shirts.
Photos showed Sarah walking with her arm around Joe, and the two were even seen smooching as they strolled through the city together. They looked like they were having a very good time and enjoying their date, on the surface anyway.
But fans are not buying it at all and think the whole thing was a setup. Personally, I feel like they called the paparazzi on themselves to try to make their date a big deal.
Neither of them is really famous enough to have paparazzi randomly spying on them in the middle of Brooklyn.
This looks like a clear move to get more attention. Seeing professional photographers suddenly show up right on cue feels incredibly convenient.
Usually, people call the paparazzi on themselves like this just to get people talking, and it’s an easy way to get in the papers.
It worked, because the story has gone viral on TikTok and has already racked up millions of views and has caused Joe to be talked about for the first time in ages.
