Maya Jama has called out Toni Laites for making fun of the way George looks.
Just two days into her brand new job hosting the Love Island podcast, Toni is facing a lot of backlash for her comments.
After the episode in which George Knight entered the villa, Toni made comments about him that raised eyebrows.
Toni said, “No tea, no shade, George is a jump scare. I would be upset if I saw him walk in, I’m not gonna lie.”
That message was just so rude and unnecessary, especially since Toni was so vocal about people being mean when she was on the show. She should have been way more compassionate about it, and it’s really shown her true colors.
Lots of people are now calling her a massive hypocrite and saying she should be removed from the podcast.
Now Maya has gotten involved, and she’s not happy. Under a post about it, she left a comment that said, “Yeah, this wasn’t it”.
Maya is clearly angry with Toni, and who can blame her? You can’t preach about kindness and then turn around and say something so mean about someone’s appearance.
I think this could be a huge turn in the way everyone sees Toni, as I don’t think anyone has ever thought of her as mean before.
